STORAGE REPORT 2007

What a year 2007 has been for Regis Consulting in the N.Z. market!

2007 has been our first full year of operation in the New Zealand market and we have literally been fat out working with clients located from one end of the country to the other.

We have completed a number of first class storage unit fit-out jobs, from the smaller 75 unit projects, through to the 400 plus unit developments. We have also completed a specialist wine storage vault – the first of its kind for self storage in New Zealand. On top of this we have completed and are currently working on a number of full “Design and Construct” projects for clients who have entrusted us to take their vision from paper through to a completed facility.

At Regis Consulting we are specialist self storage builders who not only understand the construction process, from design and planning through to completed construction, but we also have a full understanding of facility management as well. We have been owner/operators of storage facilities and bring this experience to help clients design economic, efficient, and customer friendly facilities.

The storage market in New Zealand is booming at present, with growth being experienced in almost all locations throughout the country.

There has been high sale activity of storage facilities through-out the year. Much of this has been driven by the large franchise owners buying into the market. The largest operators, Storage King and the Kennards group, backed by investment trusts are looking at New Zealand as a key strategic growth market – identified as being under served at present. As we move toward the Christmas season, our 2008 construction program is rapidly filling. We still have a few construction spaces available but would like to talk to you soon, in order to ensure we can meet your requirements for the new year.
